Weekly Disney Roundup: February 13th 2014

Another week, another version of "Let It Go" to listen to. This week comes from a youtuber named Malinda Kathleen Reese who took the lyrics of "Let It Go" and sent it through several different languages on Google Translate before sending it back to English and then sang the result. Very much worth the time to listen to it below.

In honor of Valentine's Day this week, Disney is showing a short film titled Blank: A Vinylmation Love Story about an unpainted Vinylmation character that is looking for it's soulmate and will use practical stop motion effects. The sort is being shown at the Premiere Theatre inside Disney's Hollywood Studios, but for those that can't make it, the short can be viewed for free here.

Because the Winter Olympics are here, we have a chart to discover What Disney Sports movie you should watch right now.

And finally, this particular video is in no way recent or newsworthy, but earlier this week, both Megan and Joel struggled to remember what song lined up so well with the "Bet On It" footage from High School Musical 2. Turns out it was the Pokemon theme song as proved by the video below.

  1. I wonder how many times she had to practice that before she could do it with a straight face. I also saw version of Let It Go where they switched between all the different languages. That was interesting cause I noticed that the French words were different from the actual lyrics so I looked up the exact translations and its really interesting the way they switch the words around to make the song work in all the different languages.

The Zac Efron thing is pretty hilarious too, good old pokemon.
